It is not immediately obvious where you can find affordable car rental in Christchurch and that is partly because of the way the Garden City is laid out. This is a flat city. So the affordable rental car deals can be anywhere. However, it is also a city with a heart, down at the Cathedral Square. So because travellers and visitors will almost always go to that area, there are depots of car rental businesses around the square area. In fact, you can take a five minute stroll from the square and be in a cluster of car rental offices. So they are easy to find as well as easy to afford.
