Looking for suggestions on body detoxification methods

I’m not a drinker, smoker or drug user and so this question may seem a bit off. However, I have been hearing a lot about how we need to detox our systems and I am curious about learning more on body detoxification methods. I went on-line for more information and was bombarded by several different ideas, methods and philosophies of how to have an effective detox. However, I didn’t feel very comfortable with all the information I found. I believe that I need to detox my body considering all the junk I have put into it both willingly and unwillingly over the years however I want to make sure which ever method I choose to use is safe.
