My Dog Has Very Strange Eating Habits
My dog has very strange eating habits. Since he was a puppy he would knock the raised dog feeders with his nose until some of his food fell out. Then he would eat the food off the floor. Even now that he is four years old, he still does this. He has also grown accustomed to eating egg yolks on the weekends, when we cook fried eggs and only eat the whites. Maybe this is why he is picky about his dog food. Sometimes we switch up the food, and we always transition by mixing the two different types before switching completely. He is able to pick out the kibble he likes best and eat it all, without eating the other kind of kibble, even when they are completely mixed together! I’ve been feeding my dog out of the same dog bowl since he was a pup. It’s a thick plastic bowl that has lasted through his teething phase, so I guess it will last forever.
