Correct Way to Weight Train
Why is that people assume that the correct way to build upper body strength is to add more weight to the bar when they can’t really handle it? A few years ago I took a weight training and strength building class and found that the amount of weight you add to the bar does not matter. The key is to do as many reps as you can and then gradually build up to another weight. I tried this and found out that I gained the strength faster than others who chose to “max out” on the amount of weight they are lifting.
